RESOLUTION R2025-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PARCEL MAP FOR KAREN ALEJANDRA VERA-OROPEZA AND JULIO OROPEZA, LOCATED AT 832 EDYTHE STREET; AND ACCEPTING FOR PUBLIC USE THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF THE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS SHOWN ON THE PARCEL MAP WHEREAS, Karen Alejandra Vera-Oropeza and Julio Oropeza, have presented to the City Council of the City of Manteca a Parcel Map for 832 Edythe Street for approval; and WHEREAS, on June 6, 2024, the Manteca Planning Commission held a Public Hearing and adopted Planning Commission Resolution No. 1657 which approved the Tentative Parcel Map; and WHEREAS, the property owners are seeking to subdivide a 0.29-acre lot into two lots, creating a 0.17-acre lot and a 0.12-acre lot; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Conditions of Approval for the Tentative Parcel Map, the owners are offering a ten foot (10’) wide public utility easement on the Edythe Street frontage and a six foot (6’) wide public utility easement on the east property line of 832 Edythe Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. The City Council hereby approves the Parcel Map for Karen Alejandra Vera-Oropeza and Julio Oropeza.
3. The City Council hereby accepts the ten foot (10’) wide public utility easement on the Edythe Street frontage and the six foot (6’) wide public utility easement on the east property line of 832 Edythe Street.
4. The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of Manteca to sign the Parcel Map on behalf of the City of Manteca and authorizes the City Clerk to attest thereto and impress the official seal upon the same.
5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of March 2025, by the following vote:
