RESOLUTION R2025-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM MANTECA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR 66,981 SQUARE FEET OF REAL PROPERTY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES OVER A PORTION OF 3005 W. WOODWARD AVENUE (APN: 241-260-13) WHEREAS, as a result of recently installed improvements along the realignment of Yukon Territory Avenue (previously McKinley Avenue) and the future required frontage improvements along W. Woodward Avenue, the City required additional deeded right-of-way over that portion of 3005 W. Woodward Avenue (APN: 241-260-13) so the improvements would be within the City right-of-way; and WHEREAS, Manteca Unified School District collaborated with the City to provide the necessary right-of-way along the frontage of 3005 W. Woodward Avenue for existing and future facilities including roads, sidewalks, curb and gutter; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby accepts the Grant Deed from Manteca Unified School District for 66,981 square feet of real property for right-of-way purposes over a portion of 3005 W. Woodward Avenue (APN: 241-260-13).
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution and the Grant Deed with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of March, 2025, by the following vote:
