RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE TITLE AND SCOPE OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) 24029 FACILITIES DRIVEWAY PROJECT TO FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND REALLOCATE $40,000 TO PURCHASE A CUSTODIAL TRUCK WHEREAS,_ CIP 24029 was issued to improve the Facilities Driveway adding a much needed storm runoff drain and pave the dirt driveway for staff to park safely. This project finished under budget; and WHEREAS, the facilities shop building is in disrepair and needs a “facelift”; and WHEREAS, improvements would include exterior as well as interior; and WHEREAS, staff also recommends appropriating $40,000 from account 100.00.00.900-8000.14 for the purchase of a new Custodial Truck into Account 100.40.55.500-7000.02; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves to close and disencumber Capital Improvement Program Project Facilities Driveway Project (CIP 24029).
The City Council hereby approves the reallocations of funds from CIP 24029 to purchase a Custodial Truck in the amount of $40,000.
The City Council hereby approves the reallocations of funds from CIP 24029 to Amend the FY25 Capital Improvement Program to include new Public Works Facilities Building Improvements Project in the amount of $190,751 The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or their designee to execute the all associated documents and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution, including any amendments.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
