RESOLUTION R2025-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT CLAIM TO THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR ALLOCATION OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FUNDS TO THE CITY OF MANTECA WHEREAS, the State of California enacted the Transportation Development Act (TDA) in 1972 to provide funds for transportation needs each fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is designated as the Regional Transportation Planning Agency responsible for administering and allocating TDA funds to its member agencies in San Joaquin County; and WHEREAS, SJCOG has adopted findings of apportionment for State Transit Assistance (STA) Funds and Local Transportation Funds (LTF) for Fiscal Year 2023-24 for the City of Manteca; and WHEREAS, the City has identified eligible expenses during FY 2023-24 for which reimbursement is desired; and WHEREAS, SJCOG’s procedure for receiving TDA funds requires submission of an annual claim form and a resolution approved by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. That the Fiscal Year 2023-24 TDA Claim attached hereto is authorized for submittal to SJCOG.
3. The City Council designates the City Manager to execute any and all related documents in order to effectuate this filing and/or allocation.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 30th day of July, 2025, by the following vote:
