RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GENERAL FUND (FUND 100) APPROPRIATION OF $120,000 TO PURCHASE A NEW TOWABLE DRUM WOOD CHIPPER FOR PUBLIC WORKS PARKS MAINTENACE DIVISION.
WHEREAS, the Urban Forestry Crew in the Parks Maintenance Division is in need of a new towable drum wood chipper to perform tree work and that will require a Class B Commercial Drivers License; and WHEREAS, Staff recommends a budget appropriation of $120,000 in the General Fund (Fund 100) for the purchase of a new towable drum wood chipper; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves a General Fund (Fund 100) appropriation of $120,000 to fund the towable drum wood chipper.
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager, or their designee, to complete and execute all associated documents, and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 2nd day of September 2025, by the following vote:
