RESOLUTION R2025-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE MANTECA PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS IAFF LOCAL 1874 (FIRE UNIT) AND UPDATED FIRE UNIT SALARY MATRIX WHEREAS, the City of Manteca representatives and Manteca Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1874 (Fire Unit) representatives have reached a tentative agreement on a successor memorandum of understanding (MOU); and WHEREAS, both parties are in agreement to terms of the MOU and the salary adjustments included in the Fire Unit salary matrix effective September 1, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Manteca and the Manteca Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1874 (Fire Unit), effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
The City Council hereby approves the updated salary matrix effective September 1, 2025.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 16th day of September, 2025, by the following vote:
