RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING: 1) THE FOLLOWING NEW CLASSIFICATION: URBAN FORESTRY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TRAINEE; 2) THE SALARY MATRIX FOR GENERAL SERVICES/OPERATING ENGINEERS’ LOCAL UNION NO. 3 EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 21, 2025; 3) UPDATED SIDE LETTER AGREEMENT WITH OE3 REGARDING FLEX STAFFING WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department conducted a classification analysis on the Urban Forestry Maintenance Technician Trainee; WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department is recommending the approval of the attached salary matrix, effective October 21, 2025, including the new Urban Forestry Maintenance Technician Trainee classification; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department is recommending the approval of the updated side letter agreement with OE3 regarding Flex Staffing.
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the new job classification of Urban Forestry Maintenance Technician Trainee.
The City Council hereby approves the General Services/OE3 Salary Matrix effective October 21, 2025.
The City Council hereby approves the updated Side Letter Agreement with OE3 regarding Flex Staffing.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of October, 2025, by the following vote:
