RESOLUTION R2025-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MANTECA AND DISABILITY ACCESS CONSULTANTS, LLC (“DAC”); AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department received an updated scope of work from Disability Access Consultants, LLC (“DAC”) to continue work on the City’s Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department reviewed the updated scope of work, which meets the work requirements under the City’s ADA Transition Plan to ensure compliance with the ADA and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504); and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the contract for services agreement with DAC for a not-to-exceed total amount of $200,000.
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager or designee to execute the Agreement and take all appropriate actions necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the resolution.
5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of October, 2025, by the following vote:
