RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT OF $30,000 FROM THE ANTONE E & MARIE F RAYMUS FOUNDATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF A POLICE DRONE AND APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION FOR $30,000 TO MISCELLANEOUOUS GRANTS (FUND 101) REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ACCOUNTS WHEREAS, the City of Manteca accepts a grant from The Antone E & Marie F Raymus Foundation for the Purchase of a Police Drone in the amount of $30,000; and WHEREAS, the Manteca Police Department will use the grant funds to purchase a BRINC Lemur 2 drone, which is a specialized, purpose-built Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) designed specifically for tactical and public safety applications, including law enforcement, HazMat response, and search and rescue (SAR) missions; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council of the City of Manteca does hereby accept a $30,000 grant from the0 Antone E & Marie F Raymus Foundation.
The City Council approves an appropriation of $30,000 to Miscellaneous Grants (Fund 101) revenue and expenditure accounts.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the day of , 2025, by the following vote:
