RESOLUTION R20XX-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $138,490 WITH FEHR AND PEERS FOR THE PREPARATION OF MANTECA TRANSIT’S FIXED ROUTE REDESIGN STUDY AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Manteca’s existing Fixed Route bus network has been in place for several years with only minor adjustments; and WHEREAS, changes in ridership patterns, new developments, and evolving community needs have created a need to re-evaluate the transit system; and WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Manteca Transit’s Fixed Route Redesign Study was released on Sept 4, 2025, soliciting competitive Proposals; and WHEREAS, after a competitive process, Fehr & Peers was found to be the most responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, staff recommend entering into an agreement with Fehr & Peers; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves an agreement for the Fixed Route Redesign Study to Fehr & Peers at a total cost not-to-exceed of $138,490.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 4th day of November, 2025, by the following vote:
