Tell us about yourself (i.e. background, education, career experience, interests).
I've lived in Manteca for 32 years and have worked for Chase Chevrolet in Stockton, Ca. as an Inventory Manager for 22 years. My main responsibilities are to strategically forecast projected sales and inventory needs based on fluctuating market trends. I'm a wife and proud mother of two grown children who both serve with the Lathrop-Manteca Fire District. My greatest interests are spending time with my family, supporting my city and enjoying time with friends.
List any experiences you have serving on other Boards & Commissions in the City of Manteca or elsewhere.
I served on an advisory board for 2 years with the American Red Cross San Joaquin Chapter. My role was to add input on fundraising planning and how certain monies were spent. I also volunteered at emergency shelters during my time, offering support for fire evacuations.

Why are you interested in serving on the Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee? I am interested in serving on the Public Safety Sales Tax committee because I care deeply about the safety and well-being of our community. With my long ties to Manteca and family's involvement in local public service, I want to help ensure transparency, accountability for the benefit of our city.
Please tell us about special qualifications you have that best suit the Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee.
I bring 22 years of experience in an accounting background. which gives me a strong skill set in financial accountability. In addition, my family's deep ties to local public service gives me a strong understanding of the importance of supporting public safety in our community.

What innovative ideas would you like to see implemented to encourage individuals to prosper in the City of Manteca?
I think our City Police and Fire do an exceptional job in community outreach and I would like to join in on their tremendous efforts. I would like to help be part of more outreach especially amongst our youth. Encourage our youth to consider careers in public safety.
I would like to also work on getting more of our community to support local. We have a beautiful city.
What programs or events do you believe would connect individuals from different backgrounds, agencies, and lifestyles within the City of Manteca?
I think events like, Love Manteca" is a great opportunity to have people of all ages and backgrounds come out and support our city. It also gives everyone an opportunity to meet new people and connect.
