RESOLUTION R2026-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW DAY PASS FARE FOR MANTECA TRANSIT’S FIXED ROUTE SERVICE WHEREAS, the City provides public transit services within the City limits which currently offers four fixed routes; and WHEREAS, current Transit’s fare structure includes one-way fare, 10 ride pass, and 31 day pass for fixed route services. There are currently no day passes option available to riders for fixed routes; and WHEREAS, the implementation of a day-pass fare option would provide an additional fare product to meet the needs of riders who make multiple trips in one day; and WHEREAS, the proposed fixed route day pass fare of $3.00 and a day pass fare- Senior/Disable/Medicare/Veterans for the price of $1.50; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council approves the implementation of a day pass fare for fixed route services and establishes the following rates:.
Day Pass – Regular $3.00
Day Pass – Senior/Disable/Medicare/Veterans $1.50
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on this 20th day of January, 2026, by the following vote:
