RESOLUTION R2026-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025-26 MID-YEAR BUDGET AMENDMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Manteca adopted by Resolution number R2025-130 approving the FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget; and WHEREAS, the City of Manteca staff desires to inform and update the City Council and public on the financial status of the city’s major funds at mid-year and requests amendments based on revenue trends and expenditure needs; and WHEREAS, the Budget Mid-Year Update proposes to amend the FY 2025-26 Adopted Budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
2. Authorizes appropriation adjustments (attached hereto as Exhibit “A”) to revenue of $4,163,622 and expenditures of $3,069,949.
3. The FY 2025-26 Budget Mid-Year Update appropriations will expire on June 30, 2026.
4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 3rd day of February, 2026, by the following vote:
