RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM PHANTOM ADMINISTRATIVE, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 FOR THE MANTECA POLICE DEPARTMENT BOMB SQUAD EQUIPMENT AND APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION FOR $500 IN THE GENERAL FUND (FUND 100) WHEREAS, Phantom Administrative, LLC has generously donated $500.00 to the Manteca Police Department Bomb Squad to support public safety operations; and WHEREAS, the Manteca Police Department intends to utilize the donation to purchase equipment and related accessories that will assist the Bomb Squad in safely responding to incidents involving explosives or suspicious devices; and WHEREAS, acceptance of donations requires approval by the City Council in accordance with City policy regarding gifts and contributions; and WHEREAS, the donation will be recorded in the General Fund and appropriated for Bomb Squad equipment purchases; and WHEREAS, because the expenditure is fully offset by donation revenue, there is no net impact to the General Fund.
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council accepts the donation from Phantom Administrative, LLC in the amount of $500 for the Manteca Police Department Bomb Squad.
The City Council approves revenue and expenditure appropriations of $500 in the General Fund (Fund 100).
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the __ day of ______, 20__, by the following vote:
