RESOLUTION R2026-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE REPORT OF VACANCIES, RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 2561/GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3502.3 WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has calculated the vacancy rate by City Department and Bargaining Unit at the City for Fiscal Year 2025/26; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has compiled reports and data presented at a public hearing in compliance with Assembly Bill 2561 and Government Code Section 3502.3; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby accepts the Fiscal Year 2025/26 Report Regarding Vacancies, Recruitment and Retention Efforts.
The City Council accepts the staff report prepared by Human Resources, confirming the City-Wide vacancy rate of 6.5% as of May 2026.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 2nd day of June, 2026, by the following vote:
