RESOLUTION R2026-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANTECA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, APPROVING:
1) NEW JOB CLASSIFICATIONS PURSUANT TO THE CITYWIDE CLASSIFICATION STUDY COMPLETED BY GALLAGHER WHEREAS, the Council is presented with a successor memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the City of Manteca and the Manteca Mid-Manager Association (MMA); and an updated Executive Management Compensation and Benefits Plan on the June 16, 2026, agenda which includes associated costs that cover these new job classifications; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department is recommending the approval of the attached job descriptions:

Assistant Director of Waste Management and Fleet Services WHEREAS, the salary schedules for these job classifications will be approved with the successor MMA MOU and updated Executive Management Compensation Plan covering these job classifications, as recommended on the June 16, 2026, agenda.
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered all information related to this matter, as presented at the public meetings of the City Council identified herein, including any supporting reports by City Staff, and any information provided during public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Manteca, as follows:
The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals to this Resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City Council’s adoption of this Resolution.
The City Council hereby approves the new job classifications listed in this resolution.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at a public meeting of said City Council held on the 16th day of June, 2026, by the following vote:
