B. CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to closed session at 5:01 p.m.
B.1. 26‑452 CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS (Government Code Section 54957.6): City designated representatives: Toni Lundgren, City Manager, Jose Jasso, Assistant City Manager, Kevin Jorgensen, Assistant City Manager, Stephanie Van Steyn Director of Human Resources, and Matthew Boring Director of Finance. Employee Organizations: Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (OE3), and Manteca Technical and Support Services Association.
B.2. 26‑457 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL ‑ ANTICIPATED LITIGATION (Government Code sec. 54956.9(d)(2)) ‑ Number of Cases: 1. Facts and circumstances, including but not limited to a transactional occurrence, which might result in litigation against the City, and that are known to a plaintiff or potential plaintiff. (Government Code sec. 54956.9(e)(2)).
C. REPORT ON ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: upon returning to open session at 6:08 p.m., Interim City Attorney Andy Pinasco reported for item B.1 that negotiations had reached an impasse and the City would post a statement on the City website regarding matter as soon as possible. There was no reportable action for item B.2.
D. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Singh adjourned the meeting at 6:09 p.m.
