13.20 to the City of Maricopa Municipal Code Related to Water Connections; 3) Introduce An Ordinance Entitled An Ordinance Of The City Council, Of The City Of Maricopa Adding Chapter 13.20 to the City of Maricopa Municipal Code Related to Water Connections.
Recommendation:
NOTE: At the regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the Mayor opened the advertised Public Hearing for this matter after which the City Council continued the Public Hearing to the regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
At this time, it is appropriate for the Mayor to reconvene the advertised Public Hearing and to either 1) conduct the Public Hearing as recommended below; or, in the alternative, to continue the Public Hearing to a date certain to allow additional time for the Water District to comment on the proposed ordinance.
At the regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Mayor reconvened the advertised Public Hearing for this matter after which the City Council continued the Public Hearing to the regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, June 11, 2024. At this time, it is appropriate for the Mayor to reconvene the advertised Public Hearing and to conduct the Public Hearing as recommended below.
