a. City Council to participate and provide feed back on a Marina High School Leadership Project.
The City Council listened to the eight Marina High School Leadership Projects from the following students:
• Tristian Roque and Gary Quinones - Water City Roller Rink Property Pitch • Elizabeth Garcia, Brenda Martinez, Aida Simmon and Samantha Concepcion – Blankets of Hope
• Akbar Prasley and Johnny Nguyen – Expansion of Donation Stations around Marina • Annabella Merlin and Andre DeRuna – Beach Cleanup
• Maria Lopes – Substance Abuse Center
• Mia Gallo and Marlene Angels – Animal Care Facility in Marina • Daisy Preciado Escobedo – Community Help Center
• Brilynn Guevara – Opioid Overdoes “Narcan Vending Machines”.

The City Council asked questions of each presenter and suggested to each to attend the budget retreat meeting in April.
