CALL TO ORDER
- Mayor Zorn called the meeting to order at 7:04pm.
ROLL CALL (00:00:36)
- Councilmember Howard is excused; All other Councilmembers were in attendance.
SPECIAL MEETING ITEMS (00:00:58)
1. Adopt a resolution establishing the City’s Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2023-24. • Verbal presentation by Finance Director Glasser.
• Council and staff had a brief discussion.
• Motion by VM Ross, seconded by CMR McKillop, to adopt resolution as written. • Motion carried: 4 Ayes (Ross, Zorn, Malhi, McKillop) – 1 Absent (Howard)
2. Adopt a resolution approving the Biennial Budget for July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025. • PowerPoint presentation by City Manager Michael Chandler. • Council and staff had an in-depth discussion regarding this item. • Councilmember Malhi and McKillop expressed support for a Grant Writer to bring in more city funds. • Councilmember Malhi requested that the use of funds for ARDPIE recommendations be conveyed to the community.
• Motion by VM Ross, seconded by CMR Malhi to adopt resolution as written.
Motion carried: 4 Ayes (Ross, Zorn, Malhi, McKillop) – 1 Excused (Howard)
