RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO SUBMIT AND ACCEPT THE CALFIRE FIRE
PREVENTION GRANT
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Marysville, State of California held on the 1
st day of February, 2022.
WHEREAS, the Marysville Fire Department has a need to purchase vegetation management equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Marysville Fire Department recommends to submit and accept the CALFIRE Fire Prevention Grant for purchase of tractor, implements, gooseneck trailer for transportation and equipment; and
WHEREAS, the project total to purchase new vegetation management equipment will be $179,000; and
WHEREAS, The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to sign and execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Marysville Fire Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Marysville that the herein known as the submittal and acceptance of the CALFIRE Fire Prevention Grant award as if fully set forth herein, is hereby ratified and approved.
