The Yuba Sutter Taco Festival is a premiere platfrom for. local vendors and downtown businesses. Not only will we showcase the local business we plan on giving local performers a platform. to showcase. their talents to the Yuba Sutter community.
Please explain how your event meets one or more of the sponsorship criteria below:
Boosts the local Marysville economy: With the event taking place in downtown Marysville a high concentration of foot traffic will be present for downtown businesses. The platform we provide helps local entrepreneurs and small businesses gain exposure on a grander scale. All local business benefit with the event for the day net just where the festival is held but for local businesses encompasing the passing area.
Provides an opportunity to help build community, foster a sense of pride within our community, and engage ourcommunity: We pride ourselves with the local grassroots movement. By keeping it local, This greatly provides opportunity for the Marysville communty to showcase out of town spectators the beauty and awesome people of our area. By engaging with the community directly the festival gives peaple pride af awnership for our city.
This application must be in the possession of the City Manager by 4:00 pm March 31st, annually. • Contributes positively to the recognition and image of the City of Marysville: Being the third installment and one of the first of its kind the Yuba Sutter Taco Festival has become a brass ring of sorts for other lacal festivals like it. The name recogniton for the city of Marysville shows how invitng our downtown is for people not af the area.
Other Considerations:
X I understand that if the City agrees to sponsor the event, I will acknowledge the sponsorship on all printed information or advertising related to the event using a message approved by the City and provide any written marketing material to the City prior to distribution of event materials. & I understand that if the City agrees to sponsor the event, appropriate ADA accessibility will be provided.
