RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING NEW TOW SERVICE RATE STRUCTURE
At a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Marysville, State of California, held on the 21st day of June, 2022.
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville has contracted agreements with nine (9) tow service companies for towing services; and
WHEREAS, the tow service rate structure has not been modified in recent years; and WHEREAS, it is requested by the tow service agencies to increase the rate structure within the current agreements based on increased fuel, insurance, and employee cost; and WHEREAS, the City Council approves a tow service rate structure increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Marysville authorizes the City Manager or designee to accept the tow service rate structures not to exceed the maximum amount permitted as follows:
• $285 Hourly Rate
• $75 Inside Storage
• $65 Outside Storage
• $142.50- Gate Fee
• $80 – Unskilled Labor Fee
I HEREBY CERTIFY the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of Marysville, County of Yuba, State of California, held on the 21st day of June 2022, by the following vote:
