RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC.
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Marysville, State of California held on the 5
th day of July, 2022.
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville has determined that a true and real need exists for the acquisition of the equipment as described in the Lease between the City of Marysville (Lessee) and Motorola Solutions, Inc. (Lessor); and
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville has determined that the Lease, substantially in the form presented at this meeting, is in the best interests of the Lessee for acquisition of such Equipment, and the City Council hereby approves the entering into the Lease by the Lessee and any related documents, including any escrow agreement, necessary to the consummation of the transactions contemplated by the Lease; and
WHEREAS, the project total is not to exceed $1,838,437.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Marysville hereby approves the accompanying contract and authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to sign and execute said contract on behalf of the City of Marysville.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of Marysville, County of Yuba, State of California, on the 5 th day of July, 2022, by the following vote:
