Special Meeting of the City Council
City of Marysville
Monday, July 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM.
Call to Order
The City of Marysville City Council meeting called to order by Mayor Branscum at 1:30 pm. Due to a recent power outage, the power surge did cause damage to our video equipment – please note that we will only have audio coverage of this afternoon’s meeting.
Roll Call
Present: Councilmembers Belza, Gilchrist, Hudson, Vice Mayor Buttacavoli and Mayor Branscum.
Absent: None.
Next Meeting Announcement (Mayor)
The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 6:00 pm. Reminder that the August 2nd meeting has been recessed (cancelled).
Notice to Public (City Clerk)
After the Closed Session, the City Council will leave Council Chambers and the meeting will be adjourned by operation of law due to lack of a quorum. If there is any reportable Closed Session Action, a report will be made at the beginning of the next regular Council Meeting. I ask that after the Closed Session Item descriptions are read by the Mayor that all members of Council, applicable Consultants and Staff join the Closed Session meeting.

a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6: Conference with labor negotiators Jim Schaad and Patrick Clark regarding the following bargaining units: Teamsters, Marysville Police Officer Association Sworn and Non-Sworn, Marysville Firefighter Association and the Mid-Management and Executive Team.
b. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8: Conference with Real Property Negotiator: Jim Schaad. Property: City Owned Property on B Street located between 12th and 14th. Negotiating Parties*: American Hospitality Services, Inc.; Engstrom Properties, Inc.; and Hilbers Noyan Properties. Under Negotiation: price and terms.
