Subject: Contract Extension for MHM Engineering Services, Inc.
Recommendation:
Pass a Motion to approve an extension to the Agreement for Professional Services with MHM Inc. an engineering and surveying firm located in Marysville, CA, to February 7, 2023.
Discussion & Analysis:
MHM Inc has been long standing provider of professional services of the City of Marysville. The City entered into the most recent consulting agreement on February 7th 2018. The City is in the process of developing a request for qualifications a new professional engineering services agreement in order to comply with state/federal grant requirements that require competitive procurements and allow for contracts to be extended no longer than five years. Staff intends to complete the RFQ process and present recommendations to Council for approval by February 7, 2018. In the interim, the proposed extension would amend Article 2, Time of Performance of the original Professional Services Agreement with MHM Inc. to expire no later than February 7, 2023. No other changes to the original agreement are intended as part of this extension.
