RESOLUTION NO. 2023-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING PAST DUE ACCOUNT COLLECTION LOSS WRITE-OFF IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,738.
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Marysville, California, held on the 18th day of July, 2023.
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville furnishes a sewer system for disposing of wastewater for public and private uses.; and
WHEREAS, providing utility services for residents and businesses includes the collection of monthly utility charges; and
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville makes every attempt to collect outstanding balances due the wastewater enterprise; and
WHEREAS, a list of uncollectible accounts for the period ending July 16, 2023 is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein as if fully set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Marysville authorizes the Finance Director to write off as collection losses the accounts receivable listed on Exhibit A hereto totaling $3,719.97.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of Marysville, County of Yuba, State of California, on the 18th day of July, 2023, by the following vote:
