RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - XX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO ENTER INTO
NONCONSENSUAL VEHICLE TOW SERVICE FRANCHISE AGREEMENTS
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Marysville, State of California held on the 5th day of September, 2023.
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville has previously approved a Franchise Tow Service Agreement in accordance with Chapter 10.18 of the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City of Marysville has solicited tow operators to provide nonconsensual police towing services; and
WHEREAS, the towing companies enumerated below have returned applications that appear to meet the requirements set forth in the approved Franchise Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Marysville that the City Manager or designee is hereby authorized to enter into written Vehicle Tow Service Franchise Agreements with Bains Towing, Dan Preston Towing, Dick’s Towing, EZ Towing, Geweke Towing, L&T Towing, Los Amigos Towing, Randy’s Towing, Sanchez Towing Service and WAP Towing, for the purposes of providing the Marysville Police Department with nonconsensual rotational tow service, when all requirements of the agreement have been met.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Marysville, County of Yuba, State of California, held on the 5th day of September, 2023, by the following vote:
