NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND PENALTY ORDER

NOTICE AND ORDER
Resident(s)/Owners) of
424 B Street
Marysville, CA 95901
Dear Property Owner:

I recently contacted you about one or more code violations that may exist on a property you own or reside in. The corrections were due to be fixed by 07/08/2023 and have yet to be completed.

Pursuant Marysville Municipal Code Section 9.50.170, the following penalties have been imposed:
$2,560. (15 days x $100 a day and previous balance $660) Penalties will continue to accrue at one hundred dollars ($100) a day until corrected. Once corrected all penalties must be paid in FULL to the city to avoid any further action.

You have ten days to voluntarily abate the nuisance or request an appeal on the enforcement officer's determination.

The appeal will be at your expense of $500 unless a fee waiver is granted (Section 9.50.180).

Paperwork for an appeal can be picked up from the city manager's office. If the nuisance is not abated or you fail to file within ten days a request for an appeal hearing, the notice and order shall be final and not subject to judicial review under Government Code Section 53069.4, and all persons served with such notice shall be deemed to have consented to the abatement of the nuisance and that, at the election of the city, the city will abate the nuisance and the costs of such abatement and penalties may be charged against the premises and may be recorded as a lien against the premises.

Any resident/owner who exhausted the appeal hearing process may seek judicial review of the notice and order imposing the administrative penalty pursuant to Government Code Section 53069.4, and the hearing examiner's order shall be final, unless a timely judicial appeal is filed.

Sincerely,
Paricia Rodney
Community Service Officer
