Subject: Update Administrative Code Sections 10000-10025 Via Ordinance No. XX Recommendation:
Pass a Motion to 1) introduce Ordinance No. XX for the first reading, 2) set December 5, 2023, for the second reading and consideration for adoption 3) waive the first and second reading of the Ordinance authorizing the changes to Title 5, Part 4, Chapter 4, Sections 10000-10025 of the Marysville Administrative Code.
Rationale for Recommendation:
The City Manager met with the City Attorney and Human Resources Manager and identified a necessary update to the Administrative Code, Section 10000.
Background:
Pass a Motion to adopt Resolution 2023-XX amending portions of the Administrative Code, Title 5, Article 2, Section 10000.
Discussion & Analysis:
As to keep the City’s Administrative Code up to date, there was a need to amend portions of Section 10000, removing the need for the City to provide 90 days paid notice of separation of service for Executive or Mid-Management members.
