FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE AND YUBA-SUTTER ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
This First Amendment (hereinafter referred to as the “First Amendment”) to the original Professional Services Agreement between the City of Marysville and Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation (YSEDC), dated November 15, 2022, (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is made and entered into on March 19, 2024, by and between the City of Marysville, a public body, hereinafter referred to as the “City”, and YSEDC, hereinafter referred to as “Consultant.”
WITNESSETH
A. Consultant currently provides administration for the City’s Façade Improvement and/or Marketing Grants to businesses in the Central Business District.
B. An additional amount of qualifying business grants and administration of the program is expected not to exceed an amount of $110,000, for a total contract amount of $220,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by and between the City and the Consultant as follows:
1. The Original Agreement’s Scope of Work is to be extended until December 31, 2024.
2. The total cost for this contract with this amendment is not to exceed $220,000.
3. The City shall pay the Consultant an additional $100,000 in grant funding to be distributed to qualifying businesses and an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of total grants distributed for administration not to exceed $10,000. The maximum compensation for this first amendment shall not exceed $110,000.
4. All other provisions of the Original Agreement shall continue in full force and effect, except as modified herein.
