Subject: Contract Amendment No. 1 with Alliant Networking Services Recommendation:
Pass a Motion authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to execute Amendment No. 1 to increase compensation paid to consultants, not to exceed $7,200 per month, to the existing Agreement with Alliant Networking Services.
Rationale for Recommendation:
The City entered into an agreement with Alliant Networking Services on September 1, 2015, to provide IT services, up to and including, managing IT services, servers, computer workstations, email administration, computer network security, backup policies, and provide public safety with 24-hour, 7 day a week, 365 days a year support.
Discussion & Analysis:
The current consultant services agreement was entered into with Alliant Networking Services on September 1, 2015, with a monthly compensation not to exceed $6,500. This contract has not been increased in the past 8 years. The new contract would approve language for compensation not to exceed $7,200 monthly, for an annual increase of $8,400.
Fiscal Analysis:
The annual increase of $8,400 would be budgeted in 10-116-5165 beginning Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
There will be no increase in cost for the current Fiscal Year 2023-2024.
