RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
REPRESENT THE CITY FOR THE MARYSVILLE SEWER I&I STUDY
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville (the “City”) desires to authorize the City Manager (the “Authorized Representative”) to sign and file, for and on behalf of the Entity, a Financial Assistance Application for a financing agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board for the planning of the Marysville Sewer I&I Study (the “Project”); and
WHEREAS, the City desires that the Authorized Representative is designated to provide the assurances, certifications, and commitments required for the financial assistance application, including executing a financial assistance agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board and any amendments or changes thereto; and WHEREAS, the City desires that the Authorized Representative is designated to represent the Entity in carrying out the Entity’s responsibilities under the financing agreement, including certifying disbursement requests on behalf of the Entity and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Marysville has made the following findings with respect to the project:
1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to be the Authorized Representative to represent the City for the Project.
2. The Authorized Representative, or designee, is hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the City, a Financial Assistance Application for a financing agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board for the planning, design, and construction of the Project.
3. The Authorized Representative, or designee, is designated to provide the assurances, certifications, and commitments required for the financial assistance application, including executing a financial assistance agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board and any amendments or changes thereto.
4. The Authorized Representative, or designee, is designated to represent the City in carrying out the City’s responsibilities under the financing agreement, including certifying disbursement requests on behalf of the Entity and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
