RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - XX
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE AUTHORIZING THE
COUNTY OF YUBA TO SUBMIT TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES
RECYCLING AND RECOVERY A COLLABORATIVE APPLICATION FOR THE WASTE TIRE ENFORCEMENT GRANT, ON ITS BEHALF FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/27 At a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Marysville, State of California, held on the 21st day of October, 2025.
WHEREAS, the County of Yuba has agreed to perform used and waste tire activities on behalf of the City of Marysville by soliciting grant funds for said activity and providing a facility for residents to dispose of old and unused tires; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED that the City of Marysville authorizes the County of Yuba to submit to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery a Collaborative Application for the Waste Tire Enforcement Grant, Fiscal Year 2026/27 on the City’s behalf; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Yuba is hereby authorized and empowered to execute all grant-related documents including, but not limited to, applications, payment requests, agreements, and amendments necessary to secure grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified in the grant application; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Yuba is hereby authorized to conduct waste tire enforcement activities within the jurisdictional boundaries of the City of Marysville during the term of Fiscal Year 2026/27 Local Government Waste Tire Enforcement Grant.
