Subject: Notice of Completion for the Aldrige Drive Sewer Main Relocation Project Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council pass the resolution accepting the Aldrige Drive Sewer Main Relocation Project and authorize the City Clerk to file the Notice of Completion.
Rationale for Recommendation:
The project was completed on September 10
th, 2025 and the project funding requires a formal resolution with a recorded Notice of Completion.
Discussion & Analysis:
The city awarded the contract Westrock Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $1,329,950.00. The project started construction on April 30th, 2025 and completed the work in August 2025 except for the punch list items. All the project punch list items were completed on September 10th, 2025.
Environmental Review:
There is no environmental component of this action.
Legal Review:
The City Attorney has reviewed legal documentation.
Fiscal Impact:
At the time of the award the estimated project construction cost is $1,571,531.60 including 10% contingency and 5% for construction management budgeted for the project. The total construction cost was $1,435,853.60 with the final construction contract with change orders at $1,378,850.00 and $57,003.60 for construction management and inspection. Through the construction of the project there were a couple of utility conflicts, and other issues encountered resulting in field changes totaling $48,900.00.
The project is funded by the Wastewater Enterprise Fund, account number 51-510-5405 Attachments:
