RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE REACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 308 C STREET (APN 010- 242-020) FROM SANDRA ADAMS AND WELDON BELL PURSUANT TO THE OPTION
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Marysville previously entered into a Disposition and Development Agreement (“DDA”) and an associated Option Agreement for the real property located at 308 C Street, identified as APN 010-242-020 (“the Property”); and WHEREAS, the Option Agreement provides the City the right to reacquire the Property under specified terms, including repayment of $23,000; and WHEREAS, on October 21, 2025, the City Council of the City of Marysville approved exercising the City’s right to reacquire the Property; and WHEREAS, the City must adopt a formal resolution authorizing the execution of all necessary documents in order to complete the reacquisition of the Property and return it to City ownership; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the DDA, Option Agreement, and the proposed actions and found them legally sufficient and consistent with City Council direction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Marysville that:
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the reacquisition of the real property located at 308 C Street (APN 010- 242-020) from Sandra Adams and Weldon Bell pursuant to the Option Agreement.
The City Council authorizes the repayment of $23,000 to the sellers, consistent with the terms of the Option Agreement.
Upon completion of the transaction, title to the Property shall be vested in the City of Marysville.
The City Manager is further authorized to take all necessary administrative actions to complete the reacquisition, including execution of escrow instructions and any related documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
