VI. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS
1. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF NEW CITY BRANDING LOGO
City Manager, Jennifer Vasquez, briefly introduced the item then called or Kevin Bostwick from Tripepi Smith (TS). Kevin provided the overall themes of the logos presented to the City Council, survey results, and a summary on the provided logo concepts provided.
City Council provided their questions, comments, and feedback on the logos. Additionally, a tagline within the selected logo was revised and Council directed TS to update the logo.
Motion to approve logo number 1 with modification and colors by Council Member Garcia and second by Council Member Marquez. AYES: Garcia, Marquez, Torres, Aguiluz, De La Riva. Motion passed 5-0.
VII. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION (Non-Agenda Items; Time allotted: 3 minutes) No public participation.
VIlI. ADJOURNMENT - Mayor De La Riva adjourned the meeting to the next meeting of the Maywood City Council for the purpose of a Budget Study Session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
