The meeting was called to order at approximately 5:30 p.m.by Mayor Aguiluz.

II. MEETING PROCEDURES
THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN PERSON.
The Maywood City Council welcomes your attendance and participation at the 2025 State of the City. The meeting will take place at the Maywood Center for Enriched Studies (MaCES), 5800 King Avenue, Maywood, CA 90270.
Members of the public wishing to address the City Council on the agenda item may do so by completing a Speaker Card, available at the meeting, and submitting it to City staff prior to the start of the meeting.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you require special assistance to participate in the meeting, please contact the City Clerk's Office at (323) 562-5723 at least 24 hours before the meeting so that reasonable arrangements can be made to ensure accessibility.
