SPECIAL MEETING (3:30 PM)
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Dean Deines, Ricky Estrada, Bob Karwin, Lesa Sobek, Bill Zimmerman
Absent: None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Zimmerman led the flag salute.
4. BUDGET WORKSHOP FISCAL YEARS 2023 2024 AND 2024 2025
4.1 Fiscal Year 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 Budget Workshop City Manager Armando Villa introduced the item. Deputy Finance Director Margarita Cornejo provided a presentation and reported on what a municipal budget is; the capital improvemenis, Principal countar Domine provid an enview ole, and year long range financial planning model.
The City Council provided consensus to add the Canyon Heights Community Fencing Project to the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) as an unfunded level four project.
ACTION
Reviewed the presentation and provided input on the proposed Fiscal Year 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 budgets and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget.
