For the subject project, we posted bid on PlanetBids for bridge design/engineering/manufacture/delivery. We only have one bid from Bridge Brothers. AŌer several iteraƟons of negoƟaƟons, we decided to award to Bridge Brothers. Please see the link below and aƩached to the final proposal.

One thing to noƟce is that the quote broke into two parts: Bridge Manufacturing ‐ $689,422, which is subject to sales tax. But Bridge Brothers will not add sales tax to the quote as they will not be charging the City, but that does not mean that sales tax is not applicable. The City will sƟll pay the sales tax but directly to the State. I confirmed this with Purchasing already. Bridge Off Loading ‐ $63,000. So the total is as follows:

These
numbers were confirmed by Purchasing also.
