SPECIAL MEETING (4:00 PM)
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Zimmerman called the special meeting to order at 4:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Dean Deines, Bob Karwin (4:03 PM), Lesa Sobek, Bill Zimmerman
Absent: Ricky Estrada
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Zimmerman led the flag salute.
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.1 Fiscal Year 2024/25 Mid-Cycle Budget Workshop
Chief Financial Officer Travis Hickey and Deputy Finance Director Margarita Cornejo provided a presentation.
The City Council asked questions of staff and provided consensus to increase the reserve requirement to 40% with dedicated reserves for larger, long-term expenses.
5. ADJOURN
Mayor Zimmerman adjourned the meeting at 5:18 PM.
