SPECIAL MEETING (4:00 PM)
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Estrada called the special meeting to order at 4:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Dean Deines, Dan Temple, Bob Karwin, Ricky Estrada
Absent: None
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Laz Peterson led the flag salute.
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.1 Appointment of Ben Diederich as the District 2 Councilmember of the Menifee City Council
City Clerk Stephanie Roseen provided an overview of the item.
ACTION
1. Adopted Resolution No. 25-1528, appointing Ben Diederich as the District 2 Councilmember of the City of Menifee City Council.

SECONDER: Dan Temple
Ms. Roseen administered the oath of office to Ben Diederich and Councilmember Diederich took his seat at the dais.

4.2 Fiscal Year 2024/25 Mid-Year Budget Adjustments and Review, Including a Capital Improvement Program Status Update
Chief Financial Officer Travis Hicky and Public Works Director Nick Fidler provided a presentation.
The City Council asked staff questions.
ACTION
1. Accepted the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Mid-Year Budget review and approved the additional budget revenue and appropriations as presented; and
2. Adopted Resolution No. 25-1529, updating the City’s Authorized Position Listing approving additional staffing changes; and
3. Adopted Resolution No. 25-1530, approving the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Mid-Year Budget adjustments; and
4. Received an update on the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Capital Improvement Program.
