The Contractor is hereby directed to make the herein described changes from the plans and specifications and/or perform the following described work not included in the Plans and Specifications for this project. Work items shall include labor, materials, neccesary for the performance and completion of the additional work.equipment, traffic control, and incidentals.
The availability and production of the Glu Lam beams for both the Shade Structure and Storage Structure have long lead times which are not achievable with original
project schedule completion date of February 19, 2025. Completion date will be moved to June 2, 2025. No additional
compensation will take place due to the extension of this change order.

Listed below is a description of Change Order for extension of time for the Project.
As discussed in weekly meetings, the availability and production of the Glu Lam beams for both the Shade Structure and Storage Structure have long lead times which are not achievable with original project schedule completion date of February 19, 2024. During a meeting on May 14, 2024, the schedule for Glu Lam beam submittal and production was discussed and agreed that an extension of time was acceptable to June 2, 2025 and nothing further beyond that point.
This Contract Change Order will change the original completion date of February 19, 2025 to June 2, 2025 adding 71 days to working days due to this unforeseen condition. There will be no extension of overhead, mobilization or down time charged to the City due to this extension since it was not caused by the City.
This is a no cost Change Order and no additional compensation will be allowed for anything related to the extension of time within this Change Order.
