RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Receive and file the capital improvement program construction contract change order activity report for the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2024/2025.
DISCUSSION
Pursuant to Menifee Municipal Code section 3.12.090, the City Council shall receive a report outlining all construction contract change orders that have been issued to contracts within the reporting period.
A summary of all Capital Improvement Program (CIP) construction contract change order activity for the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/2025 is attached to this report. Included in the fourth quarter are the months of April, May, and June of 2025. Additionally, construction contract change order no. 4 with Optima RPM for the Central Park Amphitheater Project, CIP 19-15, was administratively approved on February 7, 2025, and is included in this report as it was erroneously omitted from the third quarter update. A total of seven construction contract change orders associated with four active construction contracts were executed during this reporting period, which includes change orders approved by City Council action and/or under the City Manager’s administrative authority. The original value of these active construction contracts totaled just over $30.7 million. The seven executed construction contract change orders cumulatively totaled $561,118.67, or approximately 1.83% of the total amount of the original construction contracts values.
