First company officer reported a two-story single-family dwelling with visible smoke coming from a second-story front window. Firefighters quickly entered the home and contained the fire to one bedroom on the second floor.

One resident was evaluated on scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation and declined transport to a local hospital.

CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a structure fire at the location listed above. Upon arrival, the first-in Company Officer reported a single vehicle fully involved in fire under a carport adjacent to a modular home. Responding crews confirmed that all occupants of the residence had safely evacuated.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack to protect exposures and prevent further spread.

The fire was successfully confined to the vehicle of origin. One adult was medically evaluated for smoke inhalation and released at the scene.

Due to heavy smoke conditions inside the structure, three adults have been displaced for the evening. Firefighters will remain on scene to ensure full extinguishment of hot spots and to secure the area. Menifee City Building and Safety has been requested to assess the structural integrity of the home in the morning.
