NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ADOPTION OF THE 2025 CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE AND THE 2025 CALIFORNIA
WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE CODE

A PUBLIC HEARING has been scheduled, pursuant to California Government Code Section 6066, before the CITY OF MENIFEE CITY COUNCIL to consider adopting by reference the 2025 California Fire Code as Chapter 8.20 of the Menifee Municipal Code and adopting by reference the 2025 California Wildland- Urban Interface Code as Chapter 8.21 of the Menifee Municipal Code, both of which comprise the Fire and Wildland-Urban Code of the City of Menifee.
Any person wishing to comment on the proposed ordinance may do so in writing between the date of this notice and the public hearing. All comments must be received prior to the time of public hearing. All such comments will be submitted to the City Council, and the City Council will consider such comments, in addition to any oral testimony, before making a decision on the proposed ordinance.
If you challenge this o rdinance in court, the issues may be limited to those raised at the public hearing, described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Be advised that as a result of public hearings and comment, the City Council may amend, in whole or in part, the proposed ordinance.
All copies of the aforementioned codes under consideration for adoption are on file with the Office of the City Clerk and are open for public inspection.
