RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Adopt an ordinance amending Menifee Municipal Code Title 12, Section 12.20.140, to prohibit certain commercial vehicle parking on City streets and highways.
DISCUSSION
On November 5, 2025, the City Council introduced an ordinance to amend Menifee Municipal Code Title 12, Section 12.20.140 to prohibit certain commercial vehicle parking on City streets and highways. This is the required second reading and adoption. If adopted, the ordinance would become effective 30 days from the date of adoption and would be implemented on January 1, 2026.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is no additional fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item. Costs associated with the purchase and installation of required roadway signs would be absorbed in the approved fiscal year 2025/2026 operating budgets in Gas Tax Fund 2200.
