DISCUSSION
As part of the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance the amenities surrounding Central Park (Park), the Public Works Department has completed construction of the new Civic Center parking lot located at 27600 City Hall Drive adjacent to the Park. During the design phase of the project, the Rotary Club of Menifee (Rotary Club) approached the City with an offer to donate a Verdin Street Clock for installation between the new parking lot and Central Park.

The donation includes a two-faced Verdin 4K Howard Replica Street Clock, aluminum post, master clock controller (MCC3), and lifetime limited warranty. Following review, research, and confirmation from the Rotary Club, City staff has determined the estimated in-kind value of this donation to be $29,933.
