RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Adopt an ordinance amending Menifee Municipal Code Sections 7.40.030, 7.80.050,
7.80.060, 7.90.090, and 7.90.120 to update improvement security requirements consistent with California Law and City procedures.
DISCUSSION
On April 1, 2026, the City Council introduced an ordinance to amend Menifee Municipal Code Sections 7.40.030, 7.80.050, 7.80.060, 7.90.090, and 7.90.120 to update improvement security requirements consistent with California Law and City procedures. This is the required second reading and adoption. The ordinance would become effective 30 days from the date of adoption.
