RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Receive and file the Public Safety Reports for July 2026.
DISCUSSION
On September 15, 2021, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 21-1062, formalizing public safety reporting. This Report includes July 2026 statistical reporting for the Menifee Police Department, Code Enforcement, and CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
At its July 15, 2026, meeting, the City Council requested additional reporting related to animal services. In response to this request, the July 2026 Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) statistics are included as an attachment to this staff report.
Updates on initiatives such as community outreach, programs, and events offered by the City and AFV, including spay and neuter clinics, vaccination and microchipping events, adoption events, and other community-based services and resources available to Menifee residents will be included in the Police Department Quarterly Updates.
